The “rabbit with the gun” metaphor hits hard — and for good reason. People are tired of double standards, tired of watching a system protect its own while everyday Americans get steamrolled by the rules that were never supposed to be one-sided in the first place.

Accountability isn’t vengeance — it’s justice finally coming due. For years, power in Washington has been treated like a private club. The elites wrote the rules, broke the rules, and laughed when anyone else tried to question them. Now the same rules they ignored are circling back, and suddenly they’re crying foul.

That’s not tyranny. That’s balance — something this country hasn’t seen in a long time.

But here’s the key: the Constitution isn’t a weapon. It’s the great equalizer. When it’s applied fairly, without political bias or protection for the powerful, it levels the playing field. That’s what real leadership looks like — using lawful authority to restore integrity, not destroy opponents.

So yes, accountability is uncomfortable — especially for those who’ve never faced it. But this moment isn’t about revenge. It’s about reclaiming the idea that no one, not even the powerful, is above the law. Because if we don’t enforce the rules for everyone, then they were never rules to begin with.
